For safety, always wear boots. If shoes are worn, tuck in shoe strings. NOTE: Some of the following pictures show the footboard removed from the motorcycle. However, it is not necessary to completely remove the footboard to perform the installation. |

INSTALLATION
Tools
- Drill and 1/4" bit
- 5/32 Hex Key (included)
- 7/16" Wrench
- Needle Nose Pliers
1. Use needle nose pliers to loosen footboard cover and rotate forward out of the way.

| 2. Using the HEEL GUARD™ as a template, place in rear corner of metal base plate. Be careful to align the rod with the inside edge of the base plate. Mark the holes first. |

| 3. Drill 1/4" holes. |  |
| 4. Use the enclosed bolts and locking nuts to secure the HEEL GUARD™. |  |
| 3. Reinstall the footboard cover. |
